Infrastructure projects

We conduct biannual surveys of river entrances in order to assess shoaling and water depths within navigation channels.

We manage a variety of built and natural assets across the state including coastal infrastructure, walking tracks, dams, lighthouses and historical buildings.

The majority of infrastructure investment is used to enhance our natural coast and maritime resources across Crown land.

In 2014, Crown Lands inherited 17 jetties and other assets in and around Lake Illawarra from the former Lake Illawarra Authority.
